About the Business Area:-

The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include

  • Receive and assess profitability, business impact, and revenue potential from all leads and requests from front lines business teams (such as Branches, Sales, and Excellency) for product booths/kiosks and liaise with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, other relevant teams to deliver requirements in order to support channels to sell Emirati
  • Arrange leads from own network of contacts and from other collaborating business units (such as Government Relations), support Branches/business units in presenting to external customers and, in conjunction with the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) and Branches, assist in running segment campaigns and customer promotions in order to achieve required revenue targets.
  • Manage internal ‘AskEmirati’ mailbox, responding to all queries within agreed turnaround times, gathering additional information from relevant business units where required to ensure appropriate and timely responses are provided.
  • Maintain a log of all queries received from internal stakeholders and escalate complaints to relevant units and personnel within the group in order to monitor/track mailbox usage and ensure complaints received are followed up and resolved.
  • In partnership with Business Integration Unit (BIU), monitor and track channel performance on all product/segment kiosks against expected leads; and work with channel teams/business units in order to identify opportunities to maximise revenue generation.
  • Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.
  • Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in Retail Banking with relevant experience in providing business support, marketing and logistics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • Relationship management skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word; Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Analytical skills
  • Presentation skills
