About the business area

Treasury offers a diverse range of conventional and Islamic banking solutions and is responsible for the Group’s funding, investments, and centralised risk management activities. It manages the Bank’s borrowings, issuance of debt securities, and use of derivatives to mitigate financial risk, while investing in a range of instruments, including green bonds, short-term placements, and corporate and sovereign debt securities.

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Process the day to day activities for Treasury Operations related to FX, MM or DV, CM, FI trade settlement operations and Nostro cash management to ensure if they are in line with Bank policies and procedures.
• Report on overall Treasury Operations functions related to FX, MM or DV, CM, FI and Nostro cash management and submit it to the line manager in order to provide timely management finance reports which are accurate and comprehensive.
• Assist in monitoring operational risk issues by following processes and controls within the Bank’s risk and incident management framework in order to inform the line manager to take actions accordingly.
• Assist in liaising with internal departments on matters of Treasury Operations, FX, MM or DV, CM and  FI when necessary to ensure related functions are executed accurately and within the required timeframes.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• At least 4 year of experience in Treasury Operations FX, MM or DV, CM, FI
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or relevant specialisation
• FX, MM or DV, CM, FI product knowledge
• FX, MM or DV, CM, FI Treasury workflow knowledge
• Knowledge of Nostro cash management operations
• Custodial settlement knowledge
• Payments systems and messages categories knowledge
