Itmam, a wholly-owned subsidiary, provides banking operational and processing services to all Group sectors, including lending, wealth management, and ATM services. Integrated into the Group Business Services  (GBS) organisational structure, Itmam operates under its own Board of Directors, comprising Group executive staff members. Its structure includes a General Manager overseeing five key operational service divisions: Consumer Operations, Corporate & Investment Banking Operations, Customer Contact Services, Treasury and Syndication Operations, and Shared Services and Operations Management. Notably, "Tamooha," the Group's award-winning operations centre initiative, is staffed exclusively by UAE national women.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

Process all outgoing and incoming remittances, salary payments, standing instructions, direct debits, and miscellaneous transfer requests accurately in line with the CBUAE/Swift rules and regulations to ensure the agreed service levels are met with no operational loss to the Bank

Perform reconciliation of respective General Ledger (GL) accounts, messages, or payment statuses/acknowledgements in a timely manner in order to mitigate any adverse financial impact on the customer as well as the Bank arising from unsettled entries, delays, processing errors or system issues.

Carry out day to day processing/clearing of all outward, inward, post dated cheques (PDC), returned cheques PDC cheque discounting, foreign inward or outward bills for collection received through the image cheque clearing system (ICCS)/internal departments/branches and Bank’s clients within the time frame as stipulated by CBUAE rules and regulations in order to deliver the agreed service levels with no operational loss to the Bank.

Perform Central Bank account reconciliation and PDC reconciliation within the defined period in order to mitigate any adverse financial impact for the customer as well as the Bank arising from unsettled entries, delays, posting errors or system issues.

Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, process, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.

Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.

Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 3 years of work experience with 2 years in the financial back-office operations field.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a well recognised university.
  • Banking applications
  • Advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Basic skills in PowerPoint
  • Sound analytical skills
