Business Support Specialist - UAE National applicants only

 

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Investment Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

 

    • Provide secretarial support and assistance to the Department Head on a wide range of assigned tasks, ensuring the required level of confidentiality is maintained in order to contribute to the running of the department to the agreed standards
    • Consolidate and compile weekly pipeline reports, daily/monthly draw down statements, daily large liability transaction reports and other reports in order to support the Department Head and segment employees in the preparation for meetings
    • Coordinate, track and follow-up client-related documents with internal departments to ensure turnaround times are met
    • Support segment employees in handling client queries, correspondence and the submission of memos and documents to Credit Group/Credit Administration team in order to meet required TATs
    • Coordinate and file all HR-related documents for the segment (Leave, Tatweer, etc.) to ensure accurate records are maintained
    • Support the department arranging travel itineraries and submitting expense claims
      Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
    • Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
    • Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

 
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
:

 

    • At least 4 years of experience in Corporate Banking, or in an Administrative role
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
    • Analytical Skills
    • Organisational Skills
    • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Decision Making / Problem Solving Skills
    • Interpersonal Skills
