The Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) provides a portfolio of corporate banking services, including investment & transaction banking as well as financial market solutions. This sophisticated product suite is powered by efficient digital platforms and distribution channels. It serves a broad range of clients both domestically and across the MENA region, including government entities, financial institutions, large to mid-size corporates, and commercial clients (SMEs), and maintains strategic relationships with leading banks globally

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Investment Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include: 

•    To manage the analysis and transaction execution, leading the origination, structuring and execution of financial transactions, whilst managing the financial modelling and pitching, taking responsibility for originating and structuring transactions consistent with business strategy in order to contribute to the achievement of the budgeted annual income and transaction targets for Corporate and Investment Banking Group (CIBG) 

•    Lead the origination and structuring of finance transactions , managing the process and checking the accurancy of documentation completion to ensure this complies with Banks requirements 

•    Review developed financial models, directing the preparation of pitch books, completion of comparative analysis, research and critical analysis in order to assist in the originating and structuring of profitable new-to-Bank and new-to-client transactions 

•    Lead and review transaction execution for each deal in order to meet deadlines, customer expectations and contractual obligations of ADCB mandates 

•    Manage the syndication process, distribution strategy, distribution mandates and book running to ensure successful execution of distribution 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience 

•    At least 8 years of experience in an International Banking environment with hands on experience and approach in originating, structuring and executing financing, syndications and capital markets transactions

•    Previous experience preparing pitch books

•    Ability to review complex financial models

•    Master’s (or equivalent) with Honors in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical), Pure Sciences, Mathematics, Economics or Finance 

•    Ability to conduct in depth financial analysis
