In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Research, Analysis, Due Diligence and on-boarding - Drive Implementation of global and regional product strategy and ensure competitive product offering across segments and channels in order to support growth targets of Wealth Management business
- Conduct and oversee due diligence on potential investment products including building financial models in order to provide competitive analysis
- Roll-out new products, including implementation of product platforms to ensure proper maintenance of product offering and reduce complexity of product offer
- Product Governance and Documentation - Review and assess product approvals to ensure they are correctly obtained and documented and comply with regulations and to internal policies
- Reporting - Prepare/oversee the preparation of high-quality product presentations for internal committees, along with external client presentations, while ensuring the accuracy of information presented
- Review and assess product material reports to ensure they are properly received, saved, and disseminated as required
- Regulatory - Assist and participate in the implementation of regulatory licenses requirements to ensure allocated licenses are properly overseen
- Manage and oversee allocated regulatory reporting responsibilities to ensure timely submissions
- People Management - Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
- Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring best- in-class services and products
- Continuous Improvement - Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and
- Customer Service - Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
- At least 8 years of experience within a financial service firm with specific experience in investment product development
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
