The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

  • To execute various marketing campaigns and initiatives in line with the long term business strategy and help the marketing team in achieving the overall business objectives
  • Relationship Management/ Event Management
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts to ensure they are managed in line with the agreed standards
  • Provide overall support and assistance to the line manager and the department as and when needed
  • Manage projects within the agreed timelines and processes to ensure successful and timely roll-out
  • Assist with the marketing calendar for assigned customer accounts and reconcile actual activity versus planned activity
  • Ensure all activities are managed within budget and that standard operating procedures are followed for all procured activities
  • Execute the routine monthly communications activities through monthly statements, newsletters, etc.
  • Write marketing briefs, coordinate with agencies, negotiating fees where required, track and manage the jobs in a systematic manner to ensure that they are delivered within the timelines
  • Work closely with the line manager and provide support in the roll-out of various marketing campaigns
  • Proactively deliver a weekly status update to the line manager in line with the required standard
  • Ensure that information is accurately given in a timely manner to other departments relying on data to complete reports, i.e. Finance
  • Work with Bank approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities as required
  • Manage supplier relationship so that the performance of said suppliers is of a standard that ADCB would expect and accept

 

  • Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
  • Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards
  • Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 4 years of marketing work experience in an agency or corporate sector
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Marketing and Advertising is an added advantage
  • Excel, Word, Microsoft (MS) office
