We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and maintain compliance with UAE health and safety regulations by supporting Civil Defence inspections, managing certification renewals, preparing required documentation and ensuring timely submissions across ADCB premises.
- Monitor expiry schedules, track corrective actions and escalate delays to reduce compliance risks, safeguard business continuity and ensure all ADCB locations meet statutory safety requirements at all times.
- Support ADCB’s emergency readiness by maintaining updated records of incident controllers, fire wardens and first aiders, coordinating training, and facilitating evacuation drills across branches and office sites.
- Conduct and analyse drill outcomes, document improvement opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions to strengthen response capability, minimise incident impact and enhance the bank’s safety culture.
- Conduct and coordinate routine safety inspections and participate in risk assessment exercises to identify hazards, non-conformances and improvement needs across ADCB premises.
- Document findings, assign corrective actions and monitor closure progress while escalating unresolved issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records to ensure risks are proactively mitigated and a safe, compliant environment is consistently maintained for employees, customers and contractors.
- Oversee operational integrity of fire safety systems, firefighting equipment and lifting equipment by coordinating scheduled testing, inspections and third‑party certifications.
- Track vendor reports, ensure corrective maintenance is carried out, and maintain up-to-date compliance registers to ensure all equipment remains operational and aligned with regulatory and safety standards, reducing operational disruptions and enhancing workplace safety.
- Administer health and safety systems including Hassantuk, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) and internal service request platforms by logging and tracking cases, updating statuses and ensuring timely processing of invoices and submissions.
- Maintain comprehensive safety records, update dashboards, and coordinate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) distribution and safety displays.
- Provide accurate reporting to internal stakeholders and regulators to support informed decision-making, audit readiness and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in health and safety operations within facilities management, property services or a similar regulatory‑driven environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Facilities Management or a related field.
- Basic Fire Warden Training, First Aid Certification and Emergency Response or Safety Management certification.
