We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Group Business Service team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Design and deploy scalable AI infrastructure using Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions
• Manage Azure Subscriptions, Resource Groups, and apply governance using Azure Policy and Blueprints
• Automate resource provisioning with Terraform templates
• Configure secure networking using Azure Firewall, Virtual Networks, and Network Security Groups (NSG)
• Monitor and optimize resource usage with Azure Advisor, Cost Management, and AWS CloudWatch (for hybrid environments)
• Deploy ML models using Azure Machine Learning, MLflow
• Create and manage Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines for Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Deploy models via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instances (ACI), or Azure ML Endpoints; optionally use Amazon SageMaker for cross-cloud deployments
• Monitor model performance and drift using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
• Integrate Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, and optionally AWSRekognition or Comprehend
• Strong grasp of Generative AI engineering principles, modular design, and scalable architecture.
• Collaborates effectively with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) teams.
• Establishes documentation standards and reusable templates for Generative AI projects.
• Expert in containerization and DevOps practices, including Docker and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines, for scalable and automated deployments
• Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
• Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
• Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying AI solutions on Azure, with hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), containerization, and data engineering
• Proven ability to manage secure, scalable, and compliant AI systems using Azure services, Terraform, Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD)  pipelines
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required
• Masters in similar disciplines is preferred
• Azure certifications are preferred
• Advanced Data Modeling and Analytics: Expertise in designing and implementing predictive and prescriptive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Data Strategy and AI Alignment: Ability to align data science initiatives with organizational AI strategy and business goals
• Programming and Tools Proficiency: Strong command of Python, R, SQL, and data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch); experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Data Wrangling and Feature Engineering: Skilled in cleaning, transforming, and preparing large datasets for analysis and model development
• Insight Generation and Storytelling: Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate data science solutions into operational workflows
• AI Role Structuring and Workforce Planning: Familiarity with designing AI-related job roles and contributing to capability frameworks and talent planning
• Ethical AI & Data Governance: Understanding of responsible AI practices, data privacy, and compliance standards
