We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Analyze complex banking products and services for strategic decision-making.
- Leverage Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance banking processes and digital journeys.
- Leads banking Data Science projects to drive business growth and innovation.
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced Data Science and Machine Learning models to improve decision‑making, efficiency, and risk outcomes across banking operations and customer journeys.
- Apply supervised, unsupervised, and time‑series modeling techniques to solve complex business problems using structured and semi‑structured data.
- Conduct experimentation using A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference to quantify model impact and support data‑driven decisions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to ensure models are production‑ready, well‑integrated, and maintained through standard CI/CD practices.
- Monitor model performance, stability, and data drift using established model performance metrics, ensuring ongoing reliability, fairness, and regulatory compliance.
- Leads change initiatives across team processes.
- Drive adoption of data‑driven practices by engaging stakeholders, communicating benefits, and ensuring smooth integration of new models, tools, and analytics solutions across business units.
- Lead structured change interventions (impact assessments, readiness checks, training, and communication plans) to ensure successful deployment and sustainability of data science initiatives.
- Monitor and manage resistance by identifying potential barriers early, addressing stakeholder concerns proactively, and ensuring alignment with transformation objectives.
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance.
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in data science, with proven expertise in AI/ML, statistical modeling, and cloud-based deployments.
- Strong background in banking processes, operations, terminologies, generative AI, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) is essential.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and agile squads and delivering scalable, production-grade solutions in a regulated, data-driven environment is highly preferred.
