Senior Officer - Business Banking Analytics and MIS

Job Overview:

To support Business Banking reporting and Management Information System (MIS) activities by preparing reports, checking data accuracy, updating dashboards and coordinating information requests in order to provide reliable information for business performance monitoring across Retail Banking

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Prepare Business Banking reports by compiling approved data, updating standard templates and checking sales productivity, portfolio quality, conversion, cost and income information to support business performance monitoring across Retail Banking
• Review report outputs, highlight variances and provide standard information to support management review, issue identification and business performance discussions
• Prepare campaign tracking reports for Business Banking by reviewing customer, product, channel and portfolio data to support campaign monitoring and business follow-up activities
• Track campaign outcomes using approved indicators such as response, conversion, penetration and revenue information, and provide summaries to support stakeholders in monitoring campaign performance
• Prepare and update Business Banking Management Information System (MIS), dashboards, scorecards and management reports using approved data sources, standard definitions and agreed reporting templates
• Support reporting cycles by preparing accurate packs and structured performance views for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews
• Review Business Banking portfolio data across segments, products and channels to identify movements in performance, conversion and portfolio indicators for management attention
• Provide standard data summaries that support monitoring of income, cost, productivity and risk-related indicators in line with agreed reporting requirements
• Support stakeholders by collecting requirements, following up on agreed actions and assisting with reporting, analytics and system enhancement activities to support business performance monitoring
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to clarify information requests, provide standard reporting inputs and escalate data, system or reporting issues to help ensure MIS activities are completed to the required standard
• Perform data quality checks, reporting reconciliations and standard validation activities to support consistent interpretation of Business Banking performance, campaign and portfolio information
• Review exceptions, reconcile variances and highlight issues to support reporting accuracy, transparency and control across MIS outputs and related reporting materials
• Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• At least 4 years of experience in a Bank or financial services organisation, including experience in reporting, Management Information System (MIS), data checks, business support, campaign tracking or performance monitoring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline
• Business Banking Reporting Management Information System (MIS) Report Preparation Data Compilation and Reconciliation Dashboard and Scorecard Updates Campaign Tracking and Reporting Microsoft Excel Reporting Basic Structured Query Language (SQL) and Data Extraction Data Quality Checks Stakeholder Coordination and Information Follow-Up
