In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• To own and drive the enterprise Machine Learning (ML) and MLOps product vision and roadmap ensuring the Bank has a robust, scalable, and well governed MLOps platform that enables Data Science teams to develop, deploy, monitor, and manage models safely and efficiently, acting as the single point of accountability for the MLOps lifecycle across the Bank to ensure all Data Science and AI initiatives follow a standardised operating model aligned with regulatory expectations, Responsible AI principles, technology and risk governance frameworks, while bridging business, data science, engineering, risk, and compliance by translating enterprise requirements into a coherent ML and MLOps product strategy that supports innovation while maintaining control, transparency, and auditability.

• Own and maintain the enterprise ML and MLOps roadmap aligned with ADCB’s AI strategy agenda, define the target MLOps operating model covering the full lifecycle from use case intake to decommissioning, prioritize platform capabilities based on business value, regulatory requirements, and scalability needs, and ensure the MLOps platform supports diverse use cases across the Bank including Retail, CWIBG, Risk, Treasury, Compliance, and others.
• Establish and enforce a standard ML lifecycle across the Bank covering design, development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retirement, ensure all Data Science projects adhere to approved MLOps controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements, define model governance checkpoints including approvals, validations, and sign-offs, and embed Responsible AI principles, model explainability, and traceability into the model development process.
• Act as product owner for the MLOps platform, ensuring it enables repeatable, secure, and efficient delivery of models to production, drive adoption of standard tooling and workflows across Data Science teams, identify gaps in platform capabilities and drive enhancements to improve developer experience, time to market, and reliability, and ensure the platform supports scalability, reusability, and operational resilience.
• Own and manage the ML/MLOps product backlog, balance platform initiatives with ongoing Data Science project demands, resolve cross‑team dependencies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and cloud standards, and track delivery milestones, benefits realization, and operational outcomes in collaboration with the different Data Science project delivery squads.
• Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance

• Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• At least 7 years in product management and/or platform ownership, with at least 5 years of experience managing ML/MLOps products, proven experience owning end‑to‑end platforms or shared services in regulated environments, with banking experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree or certification in Product Management, Digital Transformation, or a Data Science–related field preferred.
