Job Overview:

 

To support Business Banking performance management, incentives analytics and Management Information System (MIS) activities by preparing accurate reporting, analysing portfolio, sales and campaign performance, supporting incentive simulation and validation, maintaining standard data definitions, applying data quality checks and coordinating stakeholder requirements in order to provide reliable insights that support productivity, conversion, cost and income performance and informed, risk-aligned business decisions across Retail Banking

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

    • Support the Business Banking performance management and incentives analytics framework by preparing reporting requirements, maintaining standard metric definitions and analysing sales productivity, portfolio quality, conversion, cost and income indicators to provide a consistent view of business performance across Retail Banking
    • Conduct incentive simulation, modelling, calculation, validation and scenario analysis to ensure outputs are accurate, transparent and aligned to approved business rules, governance requirements and stakeholder decision-making needs
    • Support campaign analytics and performance insights for Business Banking by preparing customer, portfolio and product-level analysis to inform segmentation, targeting, tracking and prioritisation requirements
    • Coordinate with Marketing and Information Technology (IT) stakeholders to track campaign performance, identify trends, assess conversion outcomes and provide insight-led analysis that supports productivity, response rates, incremental revenue and business outcome optimisation
    • Prepare, maintain and support the ongoing enhancement of Business Banking MIS, dashboards, scorecards and management reports by ensuring data is extracted, reconciled, validated and presented from approved sources
    • Maintain the agreed reporting cadence for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance views and ensure reporting packs provide accurate, decision-useful information for governance forums, business reviews and performance management discussions
    • Analyse business, product and portfolio performance information to identify performance drivers, emerging trends, variances, risks and opportunities across Business Banking segments, channels and performance measures
    • Prepare evidence-based commentary and management insights to support productivity, conversion, cost and income performance, business prioritisation and alignment with market conditions and the Bank’s risk strategy
    • Coordinate stakeholder delivery across Business Banking, Marketing, Finance, HR, Risk and IT by documenting requirements, supporting data issue resolution, assisting prioritisation and following up on agreed reporting, analytics and system enhancement activities
    • Coordinate with HR-Rewards stakeholders to support timely incentive payments and provide required queries, clarifications and supporting information as needed
    • Highlight material data, system, governance, incentive payment or reporting dependencies and provide technical support on user queries to ensure performance monitoring, incentive analytics and MIS activities are delivered to the required standard
    • Apply data quality checks, reporting controls and standard data definitions to support consistent interpretation of Business Banking performance, incentives, campaign and portfolio measures
    • Review exceptions, reconcile variances, validate indicators and suggest control or process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy, transparency and governance across MIS outputs and related decision-support materials

 

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

 

    • At least 5 years of experience in a Bank or financial services organisation, including experience in business analysis, Management Information System (MIS), performance reporting, portfolio analytics or incentive analytics
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline
    • Business Banking performance management and incentive analytics

    • Incentive calculations, modelling and scenario analysis
    • Campaign performance tracking and insight generation

    • Data quality management and reporting governance
    • Stakeholder coordination across Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk and Information Technology
