We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Corporate Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Provide advisory support to CWIBG stakeholders on the Corporate Governance Framework, regulatory requirements and related processes by offering clear guidance, responding to queries and collaborating on required actions
- Coordinate with stakeholders to confirm required resolutions, monitor adherence to agreed requirements and ensure that responses to governance and regulatory activities are completed within expected turnaround times (TATs)
- Conduct internal quality assurance reviews to identify areas requiring improvement, assess the strength of internal controls and oversee the implementation of compliance‑related updates in order to support readiness for external audits
- Develop and maintain internal control mechanisms to reduce the likelihood of regulatory breaches and ensure operations are aligned with external regulatory obligations and internal policies
- Apply appropriate diligence in daily activities to protect the Bank from financial and non‑financial risk, adhering fully to legal, corporate and regulatory procedures to uphold compliance with UAE banking legislation and regulatory expectations
- Monitor, track, analyse and report governance and regulatory findings by maintaining accurate and updated records, initiating required actions and documenting controls to ensure full adherence to regulatory standards
- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is a mandatory requirement
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Governance, Regulatory Compliance or Risk and Control within the Banking or Financial Services sector
