We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Group Business Service team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage, lead and negotiate agreements with suppliers along with respective contract owners and Procurement and follow through to ensure adherence with contract management framework. Work with ADCB Legal Counsel to manage contracts and agreements and with the Procurement team to align with supply chain systems, policies and procedures to ensure proper contractual management. Manage issues with vendors through to resolution as and when they arise and follow through to resolution to ensure robust contract management practices within the unit.
  • Manage collating of revised budgets and projections through discussion with relevant contract owners in order to support the OPEX budgeting exercise for the organization. Provide data for Key Performance Indicators  (KPI) tracking of contract costs against budgets and provide Management information Systems (MIS) on Contracts under management to assist financials managed by Group Business Services (GBS) Finance and/or Senior Management.
  • Support activities of administration activities (Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), contract and invoicing process) to ensure effective management of contract payments.
  • Work closely with Procurement to conduct vendor/service comparison for consistently lower performing relationships and investigate and identify opportunities for the Bank in order to achieve greater levels of service delivery on procured products and services. Build relationships with the suppliers to understand how these organisations manage their contracts, in order to enable optimal service and performance from the contract.
  • Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
  • Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  •  University degree in a Business (B Com, BBA) or Technical (BSc, B Tech) related subject area.
  •  At least 5 years in Banking with a background and experience in management of IT Assets, Contracts and an understanding of IT Project Management and 5-6 years in managerial capacity.
