In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Review, iterate, develop, and maintain clear and user-friendly functional and technical documentation, communications, and policies to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement of domain toolsets and frameworks to promote innovation and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagements, workshops, and issue resolution activities to ensure timely and successful closure of queries and challenges.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement solutions by integrating insights across multiple business areas to support the delivery of portfolio initiatives.
  • Mentor specialists within the area of expertise by sharing knowledge through Confluence, Communities of Practice, and upskilling initiatives to foster continuous learning and development.
  • Lead mini projects and initiatives in alignment with agreed objectives, ensuring successful delivery within target timelines and service standards.
  • Drive quality assurance and governance across key artefacts, identifying opportunities for improvement and establishing new processes where required.
  • Manage individual and team performance in line with ADCB people management policies, procedures, and practices to maximise contribution to business objectives.
  • Organise, supervise, and coordinate team activities to ensure targets, objectives, and business plans are delivered in accordance with established policies, processes, and systems.
  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring adherence to required standards and service expectations.
  • Lead and motivate the team to contribute to and participate in change initiatives, programmes, and projects that support continuous improvement across the Bank.
  • Demonstrate ADCB service standards and deliver high levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within an IT environment, including at least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Inspect and review the work of others while maintaining established quality control standards.
  • Train team members on appropriate, efficient, and safe work procedures.
  • Perform specialised technical tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and support of information technology and telecommunications systems.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware, communications equipment, operating systems, personal computers, and peripheral devices.
  • Install, configure, and optimise network client software and personal computer applications.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, standards, and documentation relating to technical issues and solutions.
  • Support the implementation and integration of new technology solutions.
  • Read, interpret, and apply complex technical publications, manuals, standards, and related documentation.
