The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Relationship Management - Initiate and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel, business units and internal stakeholders in line with the agreed standards, acting as a strategic contributor to the team. Manage the daily communications with internal teams. Provide overall support and assistance to the line manager and the department in executing all marketing activities and ensure timely implementation as and when needed. Oversee and manage relationships with agencies and external partners, providing the guidelines and framework of the brand. Lead projects within the agreed timelines and processes to ensure successful and timely roll- out
- Account Planning and Budgeting - Enhance the marketing calendar for assigned customer accounts and reconcile actual activity versus planned activity Support the line manager in managing the marketing budget tracker for specific initiatives to achieve maximum Return on Investment (ROI) on campaigns. Plan and track the implementation of marketing initiatives on a quarterly basis, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing plans. Own all activities to be managed within budget and that standard operating procedures are followed for all procured activities.
- Campaign/Event Management - Support the line manager in the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies while driving impactful campaigns to support business objectives. Oversee the routine monthly communications activities through monthly statements, newsletters, offers etc. across various channels. Develop structured and robust marketing and creatives briefs, coordinate with agencies on clear deliverables and finalize fees where required. Monitor the roll out of various marketing campaigns. Lead end-to-end execution of product stands/kiosks and manage the installation and dismantling of stands and arrange sales collaterals as required to ensure the Bank’s overall image is maintained. Analyze market trends, customer insights and campaign performance data to optimize marketing initiatives. Monitor the roll out of various marketing campaigns and report on channels performance. Measure the success of marketing campaigns by tracking and reporting on key performance indicators.
- Management Reporting - Proactively provide a weekly status update to the line manager in line with the required reporting standard. Ensure that information is accurately given in a timely manner to other departments relying on data to complete reports and use for future decision making, i.e. Finance. Support in the preparation of reports and presentations to provide management with the strategic plans. Develop end of campaign reports to measure the success against strategic goals and report on the performance using key data points.
- Vendor Management - Work with Bank approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities as required. Manage supplier relationship so that the performance of said suppliers is of a standard that ADCB would expect and accept.
- People Management - Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.
- Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement - Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs and projects in line with the Bank’s standards
- Customer Service - Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
- At least 5 years of marketing work experience in an organization of repute
- Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Marketing and Advertising is an added advantage
- Excel, Word, Microsoft Office (MS)
- Creative mindset with strong problem solving
- Collaboration, Communication and interpersonal skills Stakeholder Management Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and strategies
- Knowledge in marketing fundamentals
- Experience in developing marketing briefs and delivering marketing initiatives
