In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Portfolio Management - Drive the growth and quality of the wealth portfolio by identifying client needs, reviewing high-risk transactions, and advising on optimal investment strategies
  • Proposition and Product Development- Partner with product teams to shape long-term investment and BancAssurance offerings aligned with market trends and client expectations
  • Continuous Improvement- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, client experience, and product delivery
  • Client Advisory and Promotion- Act as a subject matter expert in client engagements, promoting wealth solutions and ensuring clear understanding of investment risks and benefits
  • Internal Enablement- Mentor and guide RMs to elevate their investment advisory capabilities and improve the overall quality of the investment book
  • Risk and Compliance Oversight- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, proactively manage risk exposure, and uphold the highest standards of sales conduct
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures- Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
  • Self-Management- Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own contribution to business performance
  • Customer Service- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in wealth management or investment advisory within a banking or financial institution
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Planning Designation Course from a Reputable Institute
  • Proficiency in English
  • Deep understanding of investment products including Mutual Funds Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) Bonds and Equities Strong grasp of financial markets and portfolio management principles
  • Expertise in leveraged solutions and structured products
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in wealth management

  • Competitive Salary: The indicative pay range for this role is AED 25000– AED 35000 per month. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
