We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Group Business Service team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Manage and execute the design and delivery of AI‑accelerated data pipelines by adopting AI‑assisted code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor to improve build velocity, enforce engineering standards, and embed compliance by design. Drive adoption of intelligent development patterns that optimise reliability, maintainability, and quality across all data engineering activities
• Manage and implement GenAI‑enabled automated data quality rules, schema checks, and validation frameworks that ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data in line with business SLAs. Establish AI‑driven monitoring mechanisms that identify anomalies, predict issues, and prevent data degradation across the platform.
• Build scalable, automated data operations capabilities leveraging AI for proactive monitoring, anomaly detection, and self‑healing patterns that significantly reduce manual effort and operational overhead. Implement observability and root‑cause‑analysis accelerators that strengthen platform resilience and enhance service reliability
• Apply AI and intelligent automation to streamline the end‑to‑end data modelling lifecycle including automated source discovery, metadata inference, semantic relationship generation, enterprise model creation, and knowledge‑graph‑based context enrichment
• Improve modelling consistency, reuse, and speed through AI‑driven guidance and rules
• Manage and implement AI‑powered metadata harvesting solutions that auto‑discover, classify, tag, and maintain technical and business metadata, as well as data lineage relationships and PII/sensitive data detection
• Enhance catalog accuracy and accessibility to improve trust and enable self‑service across the organization.
• Provide technical management to data engineers, modellers, and operators, ensuring architectural alignment and high‑quality delivery. Mentor team members on AI‑accelerated engineering practices, automation techniques, and GenAI tooling. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, present new patterns and accelerators, and drive continuous improvement of the Data Platform function.
• Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance. Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
• Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders.
• Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs and projects in line with the Bank’s standards

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
