We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Manage the team in the coordination, verification and follow-up of the release of repaired/screened UAE Funds Transfer System (UAEFTS)/Swift payments received via electronic channels in line with the UAE Central Bank (CBUAE) and Swift requirements to ensure service levels are met and adherence to process is followed
- Review, authorise or reject the swift messages in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, reporting on findings identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement in order to mitigate any financial and reputational risk arising from processing errors or unsanctioned transactions
- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
- Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- At least 4 years of Banking experience with 2 years in centralized remittances or payments processing area
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Banking applications
- SWIFT
- Compliance and FATCA regulations in UAE
- Advanced skills in Word and Excel
- Basic skills in PowerPoint
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills
