We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our GBS team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

To obtain accurate data from internal and external sources, prepare and submit statistics on card portfolio, process transactions in in-house systems, transfer data to external processors via secured methodology and to provide data in order to support day to day operational activities of the department within the agreed time frame to meet internal and external customer requirements with no data error and loss to Bank.

Retrieve applicable transaction files and mandates from card schemes portal and process transactions in in-house systems to generate the output file for daily debit card transaction posting, upload outgoing files to card schemes for realisation, transfer data to external processor via secured methodology and provide data to support various operational activities within the agreed time frame in order to meet internal and external customer requirements with no financial loss to Bank.

Obtain accurate data from internal and external sources in order to analyse, prepare and submit statistics for management review on the debit and credit cards portfolio for both issuing and acquiring activities on time

Input data and maintain accuracy of all records in databases, spread sheets/or other tracking software systems in order to produce the MIS to support the management team for multiple business analysis

Provide data to card operations in order to create various reports on card schemes and regulatory bodies within time and to evaluate performance.

Manage vendors for secured transfer of card statement files and evaluate the sample statements to ensure the correctness of customer statements printing and dispatch within agreed turnaround times (TAT).

 

 

Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.

Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 3 years of work experience with 2 years in card operations with good understanding of card management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a well-recognised university in Computer Science or Finance.
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) Certificate course.
  • MS Office applications proficiency
  • Banking applications
  • Analytical skills.
