We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

 

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

Verify, authorise and follow-up for the release of repaired/screened UAEFTS / Swift payments received via electronic channels in line with the CBUAE and Swift requirements to ensure service levels are met.

Review, authorise or reject the swift messages in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures in order to mitigate any financial and reputational risk arising from processing errors or unsanctioned transactions.

Perform reconciliation of respective General Ledger (GL) accounts, messages, or payment statuses and acknowledgements in a timely manner in order to mitigate any adverse financial impact on the customer as well as the Bank arising from unsettled entries, delays, processing errors or system issues.

Oversee care and diligence in the conduct of day to day activities to protect the Department from financial and non-financial loss to ensure that best practice is shared and promoted.

Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and manage and monitor the financial

performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified

promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.

 

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

 

  • At least 3 years of Banking experience with at least 1 year of experience in centralized remittances or payments processing area.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Banking applications & SWIFT Experience
  • Advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Basic skills in Power Point
  • Written and verbal communication (English)
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and collaborative
