Job Overview:
To drive relationship management and acquisition of clients for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) business within a designated geographical region in order to achieve targeted portfolio Key Performance Indications (KPIs) and SME’s short and long-term strategy
In this role, your key responsibilities include:

- Acquire new clients and service existing clients whilst managing costs in order to achieve targeted portfolio KPIs and SME’s short and long-term strategy
- Build a structured and replicable relationship management strategy for the region and lead the team in the execution of this in order to deliver excellent client relationship management
- Monitor portfolio performance to understand and manage customer risk profiles and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines in order to keep credit and operational risk within targeted/acceptable boundaries
- Observe market trends, sales and service models applied, best practices inside/outside the UAE, competition and share with senior management in order to adjust ADCB sales model and practices, exploit market opportunities and prevent potential losses

- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
- Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation
- Identify opportunities to contribute to organisational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment
The ideal candidate should have the following experience

- At least 9 years of experience in Corporate/SME Banking with at least 5 years of experience in leading a team with a successful track record in asset and liability management, appropriate risk awareness and sound credit understanding
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Microsoft Office (Word; Excel and PowerPoint)
- Banking applications and tools
- Sound analytical, negotiation, decision-making, influencing and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the regional/local/SME market
