Analyst – Corporate Credit Support (Position for UAE National applicants)

The Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) provides a portfolio of corporate banking services, including investment & transaction banking as well as financial market solutions. This sophisticated product suite is powered by efficient digital platforms and distribution channels. It serves a broad range of clients both domestically and across the MENA region, including government entities, financial institutions, Non-bank financial institutions (NBFI), to large corporates, and maintains strategic relationships with leading banks globally.

 

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Corporate Credit Support team to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in banking.

 

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

 

  • To be responsible for end-to-end management of memos, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment across the organization
  • Prepare comprehensive credit memos and summarizing borrower profiles, financial performance, risk factors, and recommendations
  • Review and verify credit documentation following Memos for completeness and accuracy to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Analyze financial statements and other financial documents for the purpose of Covenant monitoring and financial updates to Credit.
  • Meet the service level agreement on turnaround time, reduce and improve rework rate and process related errors to prescribed threshold and no policy related errors to ensure delivery of optimum service standards
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Risk, and Operations teams to facilitate smooth credit memo processing and resolution of queries

 

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

 

    • At least 4 years of experience in corporate credit analysis or credit support within the banking or financial services industry
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent
    • Working knowledge of Banking and financial services
    • Knowledge of credit risk management tools and financial statement analysis
    • Analytical and logical reasoning with good negotiation skills
    • Intermediate MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Product specific underwriting knowledge
