In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Revenue and Business Performance- Manage and monitor revenue generation across the Excellency Center by translating allocated regional targets into clear operating plans, coverage models and performance priorities, ensuring that resources and effort are focused on the highest value opportunities and executed within delegated authorities and risk appetite. Review revenue trends, productivity drivers and pipeline performance with teams and stakeholders, identifying variances early and implementing corrective actions to deliver sustainable growth and maximize contribution to the Bank’s financial objectives
- Relationship Management- Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships by setting relationship priorities, aligning stakeholders on end‑to‑end delivery requirements and sponsoring resolution of complex or escalated matters that impact customer experience, revenue outcomes or reputation. Strengthen collaboration across product and service partners by ensuring expectations are clear, approvals are obtained through appropriate channels and service delivery is monitored to consistently enable business outcomes
- Portfolio Management- Oversee customer portfolios by guiding portfolio strategies, reviewing performance trends and ensuring cross sell, upsell and retention activities are appropriately targeted to maximise long‑term value while meeting suitability and conduct requirements. Monitor portfolio risk, concentration and early warning indicators through structured review routines, ensuring issues are escalated and managed through approved governance forums and within credit and risk frameworks
- Governance and Control Oversight- Ensure that all business activities are conducted within approved policies, procedures, delegated authorities and control frameworks by monitoring adherence, addressing identified gaps and supporting audits, reviews and risk assessments. Promote strong risk and conduct awareness within teams, ensuring that decisions and actions protect the Bank, its customers and its reputation while enabling disciplined business delivery.
- Business Improvement Delivery- Support and drive improvement initiatives by contributing to change programmes, embedding new processes and ways of working, and ensuring enhancements to efficiency, service quality and productivity are delivered in line with approved plans and Bank standards. Track and report benefits delivery and the sustainability of improvements, escalating issues, risks and dependencies through appropriate governance to ensure intended outcomes are achieved
- People Management- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance. Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
- Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
- Continuous Improvement- Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards
- Customer Service- Demonstrate our promise and apply the ADCB service standards to deliver the Banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
- At least 8 years of experience in Retail Banking and in a managerial role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales or Finance or relevant specialisation
- Accredited Financial Analyst, Certified Investment Professional, Certificate in Quantitative Finance, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified International Investment Analyst, Master Financial Risk Manager (FRM), International Compliance Association (ICA) Specialist or Certificate in Conduct Risk
- Retail Banking Products and Services, Relationship and Portfolio Management, Revenue Planning and Performance Management
- Credit and Risk Management Frameworks, Conduct Risk and Regulatory Compliance
- Customer Value Proposition Development
- Financial Analysis, Commercial Acumen, Stakeholder Management and Influencing
- People Leadership, Coaching and Development
- Change Management, Continuous Improvement and Data‑Driven Decision Making
- Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Communication and Presentation Skills

- Competitive Salary: The indicative pay range for this role is AED 37000– AED 56000 per month. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
