Position: Relationship Officer – Commercial Banking

About the business area:
The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Action customer requests, respond to customers’ needs, complete sales and service activities, monitoring complaints to ensure they are resolved on time, building long-term customer relationships and support in revenue generation
- Onboard new clients to ensure accurate completion of documentation, Convert prospects in order to consistently grow the portfolio of clients
- Identify cross sell opportunities of products to existing and new portfolio of clients in order to constantly grow the portfolio income and fees
- Manage and improve portfolio Risk-Adjusted Return On Capital (RAROC) by improving cross sell for clients and diversifying income base from fees in order to increase market share and achieve set targets
- Support in gathering the required information and documentation to allow the Relationship and Senior
- Relationship Managers to analyse clients’ financial health and needs as well as their industries/markets
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- At least 4 years of experience in Commercial Banking Environment
- Bachelor’s Degree is a mandatory requirement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
