In this role, your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Financial Target Delivery- Deliver assigned mortgage sales, volume and revenue targets as agreed with the Business Unit Head by actively originating opportunities and driving conversion through the mortgage lifecycle. Maintain ownership of individual outcomes and pipeline performance in order to contribute to the Bank’s asset growth objectives while operating within approved risk appetite and governance requirements
  • Mortgage Business Origination- Source and originate mortgage opportunities by engaging internal banking stakeholders and permitted external referral channels to identify and qualify potential customers. Progress eligible enquiries into executable mortgage cases in order to build and sustain a robust pipeline that supports financial performance and portfolio growth
  • Relationship Management- Manage professional relationships with customers and referral counterparties throughout the mortgage transaction lifecycle by acting as the primary coordination point for all engagement. Maintain communication according to established requirements and milestones to aid decision-making and achieve successful mortgage transactions
  • EndtoEnd Mortgage Lifecycle Coordination- Coordinate mortgage fulfilment activities from initial engagement through completion by aligning customer inputs, internal processing steps and thirdparty requirements. Maintain oversight across approval, documentation, disbursement and completion stages in order to ensure transactions progress in accordance with established policies, controls and service standards
  • Pipeline Governance and Performance Management- Manage the mortgage case portfolio by prioritising opportunities, maintaining accurate system records and monitoring progress against agreed objectives. Identify and escalate risks or constraints impacting conversion in order to support forecasting, performance oversight and delivery of outcomes aligned to business expectations
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
  • Self-Management- Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, practices and procedures to ensure adherence and maximise own contribution to business performance
  • Customer Service- Demonstrate our promise and apply the ADCB service standards to deliver the Banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

 

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 4 years of Relationship Management experience in Banking/Financial Services industry within mortgage sales, mortgage origination etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics
  • Accredited Financial Analyst, Certified Investment Professional, Certificate in Quantitative Finance, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified International Investment Analyst
  • Master Financial Risk Manager (FRM), ICA Specialist or Certificate in Conduct Risk
  • Mortgage Products, Origination Processes, Relationship Management and Sales Capability
  • Referral Sourcing, Pipeline Management, Credit Documentation and Application Coordination
  • Stakeholder Management across Business and Operations, Regulatory and Compliance Awareness
  • Customer Service Standards
  • Performance, Target Management, communication and Influencing Skills
  • Planning, Prioritization and attention to Detail
